In 1969 I became interested in concert photography. I would go to shows of my favorite bands and try to get as close as possible to take pictures. This went on until 1975, that's when I introduced myself to an Atlanta legend Alex Cooley (1939-2015) at his club "The Electric Ballroom". Alex was also a concert promotor, Alex Cooley Promotions, so I told him of my love of concert photography and asked him how one goes about getting photo passes. Alex told me you have to work for someone, magazine-paper. So at that point I asked If I could work for him and he said he would like that. So for the next 3-4 years Alex and his staff; Janet Caldwell,Lexi Halverson and John Wayne, would find time to make arrangements for me to photograph over 200 bands. But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. It started to be a hassle for Alex and his staff. I thanked Alex and lost interest in concert photography. Let's face it I was spoiled. I was fortunate to capture a lot of bands in their infancy. So please enjoy these photos and know that they are Lo-Rez images. The 8x10's you order are Hi-Rez digital prints, printed by a professional lab (Myphotopipe) and shipped to your address. Thank You for visiting INCONCERTPHOTOS.COM!
